Social, environmental, and safety performance have become business-critical issues for many enterprises. We are proud to have launched a new multi years program named “Vigilance Plan” in order to assess and mitigate risks from our World Wide Supplier base.
We are looking for established or emerging leaders to be part of this program, highly motivated and engaged professionals who have passion for environment and social responsibility, with experience in auditing suppliers and industrial sites.
The EHS, Labor & Ethic Supplier Auditor will be accountable to define and execute the program within the region, in coordination with regional Procurement team, supported by a 3rd party company methodology (RBA former EICC)
This position will be based in Bangalore, Delhi or Gurgaon. The role will report to the Procurement Director.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the methodology, process and tools definition: challenge, improve, support definition, then advocate
· Define and lead, based on methodology and with strong coordination with local Procurement stakeholders, the yearly regional audit plan (focus mainly on Production, including some Tier 2 and Indirect Services suppliers)
· Accountable for the audit plan deployment and execution in the region (Word Wide target: = 200 audits/year until end 2025)
· Leverage and coordinate deployment plan between internal resources and performed by 3rd party
· Coordinate audit logistics and scheduling, prepare audits to understand supplier activity and key risks
· Perform 2 to 3 days on-site for each audit with other SE team members, following usual audit best practices
· Share and validate findings with supplier, and build corrective action plan to mitigate major risks identified
· Follow up corrective action plan implementation with suppliers. Report progress and situation to Procurement management
· Work per Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) referential and standard, get appropriate regular training
· Deploy awareness and provide trainings in the region, both internally and with suppliers
· Participate in audits outside the region (upon specific request)
· Participate to EHS digitization program to increase global efficiency
Qualifications:
· Experience of on-site industrial audits
· Knowledge of EICC / RBA code of conduct and EHS, Labor and Ethics standards is a plus
· Strong skills in organization, project coordination and follow up
· Influence and communication (written and spoken) skills, capacity to interact with different levels in the organizations
· Passionate about Ethics, Labor and EHS, with strong willingness to share knowledge
· Bilingual: Local language and fluent English
· Travel: from 50% to 70% (including domestic and international)
· Minimum 3-year experience
· Good collaborative work style and strong “Influence and Convince”
· Self-directed. Self-motivated.
· Good communication and influence skills
