The following position is to join our RTX Data Services Team:

RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, Business Operations (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!

Are you a PM that wants to move into Operations?

Do you have a consulting background who knows how to look at resources, project finances (EAC), vendor spend and contracts ?

Responsible for managing and optimizing workforce planning, financial management, vendor engagements, and the Enterprise Services (ES) Data CORE organization.

Facilitate resource management, oversee financial planning and budget management, engage with vendors for procurement and renewals, and represent Data Services in alignment with enterprise goals.

What You Will Do:

1. Workforce Planning & Execution:

- Facilitate resource management to ensure optimal staffing levels and skill sets for project needs.

- Manage staff augmentation processes, overseeing the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders (POs), onboarding, and monitoring resource performance, in collaboration with Partnerships, Legal and Procurement teams.

- Facilitate engagements with consultancy firms, including negotiation and management of MSAs and SOWs, in collaboration with Partnerships, Legal and Procurement teams.

- Manage monthly and ad-hoc reports to track and analyze workforce metrics.

2. Financial Planning and Management:

- Oversee the submission of the ES-Data Long Range Plan (LRP) and manage ongoing budget adjustments and tracking.

- Track and manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to ensure alignment with financial goals.

- Monitor project burn rates to ensure budget adherence and financial efficiency.

- Provide financial and operational reporting to the Executive Senior Leadership Team (ESLT).

- Maintain ongoing partnerships with Enterprise Solutions (ES) Finance to ensure financial alignment and accountability.

3. Vendor Engagements:

- Lead the procurement of new tools and software, including the management of Order Forms, and POs.

- Manage the renewals of existing agreements to ensure continuity and cost-effectiveness.

- Collaborate with Legal, Partnerships, and Procurement teams to ensure compliance and strategic alignment in vendor engagements.

4. Data Services CORE Office:

- Represent Data Services within the Enterprise Services (ES) CORE office, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Facilitate the alignment of goals between ES and Data to drive cohesive strategy and execution.

- Drive and track ES-Data Control Tower metrics, both internal and external, to ensure performance and improvement.

- Lead initiatives to improve CORE maturity within ES-Data, tracking progress and implementing enhancements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in business operations, financial planning or workforce management and a bachelors’ degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling ln lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 7+ year’s work related experience
  • Leadership experience in business arena
  • Project management skills; CORE
  • Financial Acumen and Vendor Management
  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement processes

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
