JOB SUMMARY |

Responsible for performing a wide variety of hands-on technical tasks in support of producing quality fittings and/or quality hose assemblies |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
- Creation/Development/Maintenance (Deliverables)
- Creates preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintains and monitors completion ratio of PM - taking action to achieve goals
- Performs assigned preventative maintenance schedules
- Creates a daily plan of action to optimize work balancing and requirements
- Maintains continuity between shifts to ensure that information is communicated and work flow is maintained

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
- Maximizes production and maintains quality by correctly repairing, maintaining, replacing, installing, and troubleshooting all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Creates weekly action plan for achievement of improvement action items or assigned projects. (including gathering information, materials, scheduling machine downtime)
- Performs uptime improvement action items for assigned production equipment
- Performs facility maintenance (snow removal, general facility needs) as required
- Develops and executes a skills plan to train Maintenance Technicians

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS |
|
- A 2 Year technical degree with equivalent years of experience minimum and satisfactory completion of the standard YIA employment selection test
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience

- Frequently remains in sitting position to perform duties at desk and on computer
- Frequently communicates with employees, customers and suppliers
- Frequently communicates to external and internal customers to understand their requests
- Occasionally walks, kneels and stands
- Frequently drives to the customer via automobile
- Occasionally flies to the customer via airplane
