Senior Machinist III
or IV to join a growing manufacturing team in a
contract-to-hire opportunity
with long-term potential.
What You'll Do
- Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machine tools
- Machine complex, tight-tolerance components with a high degree of accuracy
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and engineering drawings
- Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize manufacturing processes
- Mentor junior machinists and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Strong CNC and manual machining skills
- Proficiency reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
- Experience with precision measurement tools and quality inspections
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- CNC programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar)
- Experience with complex materials, tight tolerances, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
