Job Description

Are you an experienced machinist who enjoys working on complex, precision parts? We're seeking a Senior Machinist III or IV to join a growing manufacturing team in a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.

What You'll Do

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machine tools
• Machine complex, tight-tolerance components with a high degree of accuracy
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and engineering drawings
• Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize manufacturing processes
• Mentor junior machinists and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Strong CNC and manual machining skills
• Proficiency reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality inspections
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• CNC programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar)
• Experience with complex materials, tight tolerances, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
