We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sr Industrial Electrical Automation Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Newark, OH. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and automated systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLCs, sensors, and motor controls.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement improvements and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical or automation technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call as needed.
