Job Overview:

Senior Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides advanced HR support in talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and process improvement. This role serves as a trusted advisor to management and employees while driving HR initiatives that align with business goals.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including workforce planning and talent acquisition.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions.
  • Administer and improve benefits and compensation programs.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support employee development.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management and succession planning.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement and culture development.

Credentials/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis

  • Demonstrated exposure to and execution of recruitment processes along with the ability to evaluate and select talent. 
  • Ability to handle all situations in a consistent, professional, and confidential manner. 
  • Knowledge of Human Resource procedures, policies, and legislation. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. 
  • Possesses the ability to define problems, evaluate situations and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with a variety of people. 
  • Able to communicate respectfully with others and work in a team environment. 
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills. 
  • Must be self-motivated; able to work with little supervision. 
  • Computer skills in Windows environment and HR tracking systems. 
  • Possesses verbal, written communication, and listening skills. 
  • Able to travel if requested
