Job Overview:
Senior Financial Analyst – Pricing & Commercial Finance
As a Senior Financial Analyst – Pricing & Commercial Finance at Restaurant Technologies, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Commercial organization, helping drive profitable growth through pricing strategy, commercial analytics, forecasting, and business insights. You will leverage data to identify opportunities, influence pricing decisions, improve commercial performance, and provide actionable recommendations to Sales leadership. This role requires the ability to analyze detailed customer and transaction-level data while effectively communicating key insights and recommendations to business leaders.
Location & Travel
This position is based out of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and will require onsite work 2-3 days per week. Minimal overnight travel required.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus opportunity. Please note that the base salary will vary based on market conditions and the candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial Leadership to provide proactive financial analysis that improves revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain pricing, volume, and mix (PVM) analyses to identify key commercial performance drivers and opportunities.
- Evaluate pricing performance across customers, products, markets, and sales channels to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Partner with Sales to review and approve pricing requests and deviations from standard pricing guidelines while balancing customer needs and profitability objectives.
- Build financial business cases supporting value-based pricing strategies, new customer opportunities, contract renewals, and strategic commercial initiatives.
- Support the monthly revenue forecast by analyzing pipeline activity, customer trends, pricing impacts, and volume expectations.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Sigma to improve visibility into commercial KPIs.
- Analyze customer, product, and market profitability and recommend actions that improve margins and long-term customer value.
- Partner with FP&A during the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning by providing revenue, pricing, and commercial assumptions.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality, and enhance scalability of commercial analytics processes.
- Support sales compensation analysis, including commission calculation review and reporting
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, modeling, and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Pricing, Revenue Management, or Business Analytics.
- Experience partnering with Commercial and Sales teams to evaluate pricing requests and support pricing approvals.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, revenue drivers, and financial performance analysis.
- Experience performing pricing, volume, and mix (PVM) analysis and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence business decisions.
- Experience supporting revenue forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience / Requirements
- Experience with SQL, Databricks, or cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Commercial Finance or Pricing Strategy experience.
- CRM experience (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar).
- Experience working with large transactional datasets.
- Experience supporting value-based pricing initiatives and pricing governance.
