3rd Shift Sr. Technician, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance
Location: Germantown, WI
Monday-Friday with Paid On-Call Rotation.
3rd Shift 11:00pm-7:30am
As a Sr. Technician, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance,you will perform all assigned mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and utility work to install, repair and maintain the production equipment, utilities equipment, building and grounds, office, lab, and warehousing equipment at our Germantown, WI facility. You will assist in the development of best practices/standards as it relates to the activities of the maintenance department.
Your Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible for all equipment and systems diagnostics, corrective repairs and maintenance associated within the facilities. This includes production equipment, building equipment, and utilities. Systems to include lighting, HVAC, production wastewater system, steam, compressed air, hot and cold water systems, electrical, and all similar systems located throughout the facility.
• Perform maintenance tasks and assigned work orders efficiently while ensuring a safe and clean GMP-compliant work environment. Technicians will work to maintain the integrity of the facility and operating equipment to ensure food safety requirements are maintained, and safe, reliable products are delivered to customers.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimum reliability and up time. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, recommending solutions to reduce downtime and repair costs.
• Maintain effective communication with production teams and ensure detailed documentation in Work Orders using CMMS (SAP) to access and update work orders, labor hours, and spare parts consumption.
• Support Improve Plant, and Continuous Improvement projects as needed.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities.

You Bring:
**• Associate’s degree in technical field is preferred (Industrial Maintenance), but not required.
• Three (3) or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and repairing all types of industrial processes: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic, is required.
• Preferred experience would be in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Basic knowledge of boiler plant fundamentals and operation.
• PLC/Automation, TIG welding experience, refrigeration, HVAC and basic knowledge of boiler plant fundamentals and operation.
• Proficient in equipment troubleshooting and repair/rebuild to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, minimize equipment downtime and support improvement activities for productivity and yield enhancement
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously; attention to detail; strong organization skills
• Basic knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, outlook, power point).
• Support after-hours and weekend on call rotation.
The hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly wagestartingbetween $35-$39.
