Mission Systems Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) Engineering is seeking a dynamic Senior Engineering Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead an Electrical Engineering section within RCP Hardware Technologies.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of highly innovative engineers in the invention, development, build, and test of electronic solutions supporting tactical communications, weapons data links, trusted communications, open systems and autonomy capabilities.

  • Oversee the electrical engineering execution of internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects, striving for 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Develop innovation strategies via collaboration with internal and external customers and partner organizations across the company.

  • Collaborate with personnel across Mission Systems and RTX to support technology transition planning and recommend projects for independent research & development (IR&D).

  • Develop and nurture internal and external networks, forging relationships with peers across Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream leadership, and Operations.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

  • Active and transferrable final U.S. government issues security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional technical teams with a passion for challenging and developing people.

  • Familiar with cybersecurity concepts and cryptographic subsystems.

  • Experience supporting pursuit, order & capture activities.

  • Experience in identifying, communicating and mitigating risks

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Special Access Programs experience.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiar with Highspeed Digital Design.

  • Familiar with Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning techniques.

  • Experience in building, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.

  • Knowledge of MBSE methodologies, specifically with SysML, and experience guiding teams in integrating hardware solutions with these practices.

  • Experience in stakeholder management and ensuring that all teams remain aligned to business objectives, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

  • Proven track record of driving team accountability for meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic team leader.

  • Demonstrated capability in a fast-paced, dynamic, creative work environment.

  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
