Position Purpose

The Sr Director, PFG Manufacturing Brand Strategy owns and is accountable for Manufacturing brand strategies, growth initiatives, and works with the Vice President of Sales to shape the Division’s commercial strategy. This role leads the development and execution of long-range brand strategies that support Manufacturing revenue, margin, customer growth, market expansion, and business performance objectives. The position partners with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Manufacturing leadership to establish commercial priorities, align customer commitments with production capabilities, evaluate market opportunities, and drive strategies that strengthen customer relationships and profitable growth. This role provides strategic direction, decision support through insights, and executive-level leadership to guide commercial planning, brand awareness, pricing strategy, demand planning, and long-term business performance.


Major Functional Responsibilities
  • Leads the development and execution of brand strategies that support Manufacturing revenue, margin, customer growth, and market expansion objectives.
  • Partners with Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales leadership to align sales plans, customer commitments, pricing actions, and production capabilities.
  • Analyzes market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, sales performance, and financial results to identify opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with key customers and internal business partners to support customer retention, growth, and service execution
  • Owns pricing governance, promotional strategy, contract opportunity evaluation, customer profitability planning, and revenue optimization initiatives for Manufacturing.
  • Identifies new customer, channel, product, and market opportunities that support Manufacturing growth and business strategy.
  • Provides direction, coaching, and support to assigned associates and cross-functional resources to ensure priorities, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Leads executive-level business reviews by presenting commercial strategy, business performance insights, growth priorities, pricing decisions, and recommended actions that guide Manufacturing leadership planning.
  • Establishes and monitors sales strategy initiatives, commercial KPIs, pricing performance, growth metrics, and corrective action plans to drive accountability for Manufacturing business results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Business or related stuty
• 8+ years of progressive experience in brand and commercial strategy, sales operations, commercial planning, business development, using insights to generate actions, revenue planning, or related commercial functions
• Strong knowledge of brand strategy, commercial planning, data insights, customer planning, and business performance analysis.
• Ability to analyze market, customer, financial, and operational data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Ability to partner effectively with sales, operations, manufacturing, finance, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, sales reporting systems, financial analysis tools, and related business applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present information to leadership and business partners.
• Works on complex business issues involving sales performance, customer needs, pricing, margin, and market conditions. Problems require analysis, cross-functional input, and practical recommendations. Problem/task resolution timeframe is typically three to twelve months.
• Works under general direction. Exercises judgment within established policies, practices, and business objectives. Receives guidance on overall priorities and strategic direction from the Manufacturing VP, Sales & Marketing.
• Decisions and recommendations may impact revenue growth, margin performance, customer relationships, production planning, service execution, and Manufacturing business results.
• Regularly interacts with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and executive leadership. May interact with customers, suppliers, and external business partners related to sales strategy and growth initiatives.
• Supports sales revenue, margin, pricing, forecasting, and customer profitability objectives for Manufacturing. Provides recommendations that influence revenue growth and business performance. Does not have direct P&L ownership unless assigned by business leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree/MBA
• 7-10 years experience in manufacturing, foodservice, distribution, or related industries. Experience leading sales strategy, market expansion, strategic customer planning, pricing initiatives, and cross-functional business planning preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, capacity planning, demand planning, and service execution preferred.
