This role serves as a compensation subject matter expert and is responsible for leading complex compensation analyses, providing compensation guidance and recommendations, and supporting compensation programs that enable informed business decisions and competitive pay practices.

Detailed Description:
Lead complex job evaluations and market pricing analyses to support compensation decisions and organizational effectiveness.
Review and provide recommendations regarding job architecture, job titles, grade placement, and compensation ranges for new and revised positions.
Lead participation in compensation and salary surveys and analyze market data to support compensation recommendations and pay decisions.
Analyze compensation trends, market competitiveness, and internal equity to provide recommendations and solutions to Human Resources and business leaders.
Serve as a compensation consultant to Human Resources Business Partners and business leaders regarding compensation philosophy, salary administration, compensation programs, and pay-related decisions.
Educate Human Resources and managers on compensation philosophy, pay practices, policies, and program features.
Lead annual compensation planning processes, including merit, promotion, and market adjustment reviews.
Develop, prepare, and present compensation analyses, reports, metrics, and recommendations to support business decisions.
Utilize Oracle HCM to administer compensation programs, support compensation planning activities, analyze compensation data, and develop reports and recommendations.
Support the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs and processes.
Identify opportunities to improve compensation programs, processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives with limited oversight.
Create training materials and deliver compensation-related training to Human Resources and business leaders.
Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Job Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis techniques used to analyze and report on compensation data.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting compensation programs and pay practices.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, solve practical problems, and develop business-oriented solutions.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide compensation recommendations consistent with Company values, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex compensation concepts to a variety of audiences.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, handle sensitive employee information, and protect Company proprietary information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources and/or Compensation experience, including at least 5 years in Compensation
Experience with compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation, salary administration, and compensation planning
Experience providing compensation guidance and recommendations to Human Resources Business Partners and business leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Experience using Oracle HCM or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, including compensation-related modules
Experience leading annual compensation planning and salary review processes
Additional Details:
Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting from floor to overhead and waist level, bending, and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Occasional travel to other Company offices and work sites, often in remote locations, is required during normal operating conditions, including day/night and outdoor hot/cold weather. The employee will be expected to properly use designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
