Job Description
Manages a team of calibration technicians that perform tasks on physical dimensional, general electrical, RF and onsite measuring instruments to conform to set standards. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and efficient turnaround time. Overseeing the calibration of approximately 15k assets servicing customers across southern NH and MA.

Required Skills and Education
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Experience within industry metrology lab is a requirement.
- Experience working with metrology recall systems, procedures, processes, Out of Tolerance Notifications, familiar with ISO, ANSI, and MIL metrology certification requirements.
- Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMEL) or equivalent formal, related, technical training and five years of recent and relevant bench experience, plus four years of supervisory or management experience over a large multifunctional group.
Candidate must possess demonstrated leadership skills. - May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Should be familiar with standard calibration procedures as well as ensuring written SOP’s and training plans are established.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability and desire to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with staff, customer and government personnel, program management, engineering and subcontractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Strong prior work
Preferred Skills and Education
- Working knowledge of RF calibration is a plus.
- Lean and continuous improvement process knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to mentor and develop technicians by developing a defined carrier development path.
