This is a hands-on Technical Information Supervisor role working in a fast-paced environment supporting a team of up to 6 System Administrators and leading across various small projects. 

In this Supervisor, Information Systems opportunity you will make impacts in the following ways;
•    Lead IT projects, including assisting of design and deployment of new IT systems and services 
•    Lead and supervise a team of 5-7 System Administrators 
•    Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
•    Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
•    Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
•    Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
•    Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT


Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
•    High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience 
•    Active Security clearance is required 
•    Security + Certification
•    Knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations
•    In-depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security
•    Supervisory and / or management experience leading people and projects 
•    A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
•    Good communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
•    Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
•    Advanced leadership and conflict management skills
•    Customer service and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
