Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Independently operate sonography equipment.
- Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic and research findings to physicians.
- Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies following established protocols.
- Provide preliminary reports for physician review.
- Train, coach, and mentor junior sonographers.
- Support research projects by collecting and documenting study data.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent patient care.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience in:- Adult echocardiography
Adult Cardiac experience is required.
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification is required.
Certification through ARDMS or CCI (RDCS required).
