Position Overview
Key ResponsibilitiesSolar Service & Troubleshooting- Diagnose and resolve common solar service issues including:
- Low production alerts
- Gateway / inverter communication issues
- Microinverter failures
- Battery performance concerns
- Roof leak-related service (per SOP)
- Warranty-related service calls
Perform basic system testing and verification in the field
Support removal & reinstall (R&R) projects as needed
Field Work & Site Support- Perform on-site service visits and inspections
Assist with site surveys when required
Document work performed with photos and notes
Communicate findings clearly to internal team
Service Coordination Support- Utilize ServiceTitan or similar platforms for job tracking and updates
Assist with service documentation and job status updates
Support coordination with technicians, vendors, and internal team
Cross-Trade Exposure (As Needed)- Light electrical service support (non-licensed work only)
Generator or surge-related service coordination
General service team support
Required Experience- 1–3 years of residential solar experience (installation, service, or troubleshooting)
Working knowledge of solar system components and common service issues
Strong problem-solving and field troubleshooting skills
Ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively
Preferred (Not Required)- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service platforms
Electrical experience (highly valued)
Experience with removal & reinstall (R&R) projects
Site survey experience
Certifications (a plus not required)
