We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous testing and analysis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and TPMs, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Develop automated testing tools and frameworks with focus on Python scripting
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and debugging and log analysis.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness by identifying areas for automation and optimization.
- Identify and tracks defects for the assigned testing scope
- Plan test schedule, devices, and tools, ensure proper test scope is covered.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering or Science degree.
- 2-5 years of working experience in QA handset/mobile testing or related telecommunications field is preferred
- Solid understanding of product quality management and development lifecycles
- Previous experience with TS.43 architecture and HTTP/TCP/SIP protocols
- Good communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills.
- Goal oriented, possess a sense of urgency and capable to work under pressure and also work independently with limited supervision
- Hands on experience with IMS provisioning and entitlement and AOSP telephony features like UICC, APNs, VoLTE/VoNR Call, RCS Messaging and Visual VoiceMail.
- Experience in data analytics is a plus.
