The Role:
Vivint is seeking a QA Engineer to help deliver tests for our next generation products. Work with a highly skilled QA Team. Validate software fixes and proper operation of embedded linux devices. Manually test and validate fixes. Run automation, documents and write new automated tests for products. Write and updates defects for the products. Develop test automation in Python. Work closely with development teams and have a key role in delivering reliable quality products. Understand and troubleshoot complex end to end systems. Participate in Alpha and Beta testing, collaborate with mobile, platform and video QA teams on complex end to end issues. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge IoT devices, code and maintain automation which directly impacts the quality of our products and ensure superior customer experience.
