Job Overview:
JAKKS Pacific, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of toys and consumer products, with a wide range of products that feature some of the most popular brands and children's toy licenses in the world, currently seeks an experienced, energetic, self-starter for the role of Software Engineer – Azure Cloud Platform for our headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. As we continue to expand our digital capabilities, we are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help drive our Azure Cloud-based platform initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. (Forecasting, Workflows, BI Tools, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Finance, and others to deliver robust and secure cloud solutions.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, performance optimization, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing cloud-based applications as needed.
- Document code, processes, and technical solutions clearly and effectively.
Skills & Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Cloud Security).
- Proficient in programming languages such as PHP, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Power BI is a plus.

- Compensation: JAKKS Pacific offers a competitive salary. Compensation for this role commensurate with experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $140,000-$180,000.
