Job Overview:

As a Social Solutions Engineer you will partner with sales and be a true expert in product, and strategy for the Inmar Intelligence/Aki Social Commerce Platform. The ideal candidate will be a true consultant to sales, and clients as an expert in social strategy, platform capabilities, and marketing capabilities across the social media landscape. Our clientele consists of brands, retailers and agencies mainly within CPG, but also across other verticals. Candidate should be passionate about social media, a true consultant, and a strategic thinker able to assist the sales team at any point in the sales process.

Primary Accountabilities:

Strategic (35%)

  • Be an expert on social media, social influencer, Inmar Intelligence Influencer history, positioning, product offering, and differentiators from competitors

  • Ability to articulate and present (both written and verbal) our Social Media capabilities, as part of our overall approach to integrated digital media, at client meetings and/or pitches

  • Ability to connect our Social Media capabilities to client objectives and position our differentiators as appropriate business building solutions

Operational (35%)

  • Work with sales to develop, manage, and present our social commerce portfolio of products

  • Assist sales in helping clients understand the social landscape and how to activate our social commerce product within their digital marketing plans.

  • Work with the sales team and pre and post sale client service teams to oversee social activations from proposal through post-analysis to resell

Influence (30%)

  • Effectively communicate client needs and feedback to the product, engineering, and internal marketing teams to continue to evolve the social commerce product.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.

  • 5-7 years’ experience setting strategic social marketing plans to CPG, Consumer Brands, Agency and/or retail clients

  • Proven ability to identify and close 100K+ deals, $2.5MM+ annually

  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment while building collaborative relationships to identify, share and implement best practices

  • Passion for social media and how it enhances the digital media landscape.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and other online and media platforms, and how they can be deployed in different scenarios throughout the consumer journey

  • Experience in nurturing support staff for greater efficiency and talent development

  • Strong pipeline management and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail (including google drive and calendar)

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software a plus
