Social Media Manager
Location: Richmond. VA (hybrid- in office 2-3 times/week). Relocation may be offered.
Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing Wellverse's organic social media strategy, driving audience engagement, strengthening brand presence, and expanding reach across social platforms. This role will help build the Wellverse brand on social media from the ground up, establishing a distinctive presence that increases brand awareness, strengthens audience engagement, and brings the brand’s voice and personality to life. This role owns social channel planning, publishing, community engagement, governance, and performance reporting.
The Social Media Manager serves as the bridge between Brand, Creative and Events, Corporate communications, and Marketing teams to ensure social media activities align with corporate priorities while maximizing audience growth and engagement. This role works with many cross-functional partners to translate business priorities into relevant, engaging, and measurable social experiences.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on social media practitioner. They understand how to build audiences, create platform-right content, protect brand reputation, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and use insights to continually improve performance.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
