Social Compliance Specialist

In this role, you’ll help ensure our operations and partners reflect our commitment to ethical sourcing and responsible business practices. You’ll work across teams, build relationships, and play a key part in strengthening and shaping our social compliance program.

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource on social responsibility risks and best practices, helping evaluate supplier alignment with our Code of Conduct 
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support onboarding and ongoing compliance efforts 
  • Plan and conduct onsite audits for company-owned facilities, including follow-up visits as needed 
  • Manage and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), partnering with site teams to implement meaningful improvements 
  • Maintain accurate audit records, compliance documentation, and reporting systems 
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve outcomes 
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development with both domestic and international teams based on industry trends and emerging standards 
  • Research country-specific regulations and social responsibility risks to support informed decision-making 
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complete compliance questionnaires with accuracy and clarity 
  • Stay up to date on labor laws, industry standards, and best practices 
  • Report company initiatives and efforts through third-party platforms
  • Support training and awareness initiatives related to ethical sourcing 
  • Share monthly updates on program performance and key metrics 
  • Travel domestically (up to 40%) to support audits and site visits 

What You Bring

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

  • 2–3 years of experience in social compliance, corporate social responsibility, or a related field 
  • Familiarity with international labor standards and compliance programs (within U.S. and Asia a plus) 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy 
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP a plus) 
  • Knowledge of SMETA, ERSA, or B Corp standards is a plus 
  • A sense of ownership, accountability, and a drive to make things better
  • Jump in where needed—priorities can shift, and flexibility is key
