We’re growing and hiring SMT Machine Operators for our expanding 2nd shift team! As an SMT Machine Operator you will load and assist with setup and staging of product on the SMT lines.

Job Summary 

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
• Assist in building electronic assemblies as needed
• Perform manual placement of surface mount and through-hole electronic components

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
• Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
• Ability to read and understand load plans
• Intermediate component identification skills
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards

Required Experience & Education 

• High School Diploma or GED
• No experience
