Location: Anoka, MN
• One position from 6am–4:30pm (Monday–Thursday)
• One position from 8am–6:30pm (Monday–Thursday)
The Machine Operator II will set up and operate surface mount machines to complete jobs as per customer specifications.
• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and run jobs on surface mount machines based on customer specifications.
• Inspection: Inspect work to ensure components are correctly placed and polarities are correct to meet customer requirements.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal operation and productivity.
• Quality Monitoring: Oversee the quality on multiple machines, ensuring standards are met throughout the process.
• Time Tracking: Record time spent on each job via a time sheet.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required due to ITAR restrictions.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as standard operating procedures and other related documents.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with surface mount machines and equipment.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull 10–45 pounds regularly. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating machines.
• Vision: Good eyesight, with the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work extra hours, including weekends when needed.
• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred, or related work experience.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in SMT machine operation or related machine operation experience.
