Job Description

This position involves performing detailed in-process visual inspections of PCB assemblies on SMT lines using IPC-A-610 standards to ensure product quality and prevent defects from reaching later production stages. The role includes identifying and documenting defects, maintaining accurate inspection records, and supporting quality compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Candidates must have experience in PCB/SMT inspection, be familiar with industry standards, and be skilled in using microscopes and interpreting technical documents such as assembly drawings and BOMs. The job requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle small components, and adherence to safety and documentation procedures, along with collaboration with production teams and participation in training and cross-functional tasks.

You should be proficient in:

• IPC-A-610
• Surface Mount Re-work
• IPC Joint Industry Standard (IPC-J-STD)
• Quality Control Experience
