Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Small Bag Machine Operator for our Sibley IA location

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety of personnel and equipment, housekeeping, quality, productivity, waste amounts, required production reports, quality monitors, other documents or reports as required accurately and timely, helps direct the work and training needs of the crew members in a safe manner, assists in the pre-setup and materials necessary to start an order. Works with Lead to assure oncoming shift has been communicated to and advised of all pertinent information regarding the machine, orders and status of equipment and personnel. Relieves crew for breaks as directed by Lead. Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance. Must perform any other duties as directed by Lead Operator/Supervisor/Shift Lead or other Management personnel. Must know, follow and demonstrate compliance with all safety rules and understand working safely is a condition of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate/GED or 5 years' Operating experience in a manufacturing environment
