Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques, fabrication, and blueprint reading, with the ability to work on complex projects that meet industry standards. This is an integral part of the construction process, as it provides a strong infrastructure foundation. **For consideration all candidates must be able to pass a Flux Core 3G vertical weld test. **This is a Monday-Friday day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components
• Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate welding equipment for the job
• Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
• Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with MIG welding, techniques; proficiency in Flux Core welding preferred.
• Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading skills combined with knowledge of schematics for fabrication and assembly projects.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts for lifting heavy materials safely.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication specifications.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
