Skilled Stamping Press Operator Job Summary: The area's leading steel stamping manufacturer is seeking experience stamping press operators to join its team.

Skilled Stamping Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Operation of a stamping press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval
• Assists in setting up dies and related equipment when job is complete, following current standardized set-up instructions
• Ensures that the proper material is loaded on to coil cart and fed efficiently into the processing equipment, and that the proper dunnage and packaging is available following current standardized set-up instructions
• Verify certification of all handheld inspection devices and gauges.
• Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition, following 5S standards.

Schedule:

• 1st shift; 5:00 am - 3:10 pm; Monday - Thursday, + overtime as needed
• 2nd shift; 3:10 pm- 1:10am ; Monday - Thursday, + overtime as needed

Pay: $20-22/HR + $.50 shift premium

Skilled Stamping Press Operator Qualifications: Candidate must have:

• Metal Stamping experience with 6 months+ of stamping press operation experience.

• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Inspects product at defined intervals following specified criteria as defined in work instructions/inspection records
