Offset Sheetfed Press Operator

**Well established, family owned, regional commercial printer located in scenic La Crosse, WI, is looking for a Press Operator to join our team! **

**We are seeking a skilled and career-oriented individual who is passionate about the printing industry. **

In this role, you will be required to set up, operate and maintain Sheetfed printing presses.

**Knowledge & experience running coatings is a definite plus, as is ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. **

Ideal candidates need a good work ethic, strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast paced team oriented manufacturing environment.

We have first and second shifts available - wages are $25/hour - $35/hour depending upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 40” Offset Sheetfed (Lithographic) printing presses to produce high-quality printed magazines, catalogs, image pieces, posters, brochures ect….
• Monitor press operations to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
• Adjust ink and water balance to achieve optimal print results.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
• Document production data and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus.
• Experience of 3 or more years of actually running a press
• Strong understanding of printing processes and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in sheetfed or web press of 3 or more years
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
