We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Skilled Machinist to join our family owned facility of 45 plus years in Irwin, PA. As a Skilled Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process, utilizing your expertise in machining to create high-quality components and parts. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, CNC machines and drill presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Monitor and adjust machining processes to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
• Minor programming/ Trouble shooting abilities to alter programs as needed.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machinist of 3 plus years.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
