Express Employment Professionals are now seeking experienced Assemblers in the Ridgeway, SC area. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to meet production goals. Below are the job details.

Pay Rate:

$18.73 per hour

Shift Available:

Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 4:45 PM

Must be flexible with schedule and overtime as needed

Location:

Ridgeway, SC area

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and motivated Assemblers to support production operations by performing subassembly and final assembly tasks. This role involves working with mechanical components, reading work instructions, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform subassembly and final assembly of components such as gears, bearings, and controls

Install major systems including axles, engines, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems

Conduct visual and functional inspections of assemblies and equipment

Use hand tools, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, and grinders

Read and follow work instructions, 3D models, and technical documents

Identify and report quality issues or defective materials

Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)

Follow all safety and quality procedures

Work closely with team members, Work Center Lead, and Supervisor

Requirements:

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to use hand and power tools

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team

Strong communication skills

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs as needed

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing/production environment

Combination of mechanical assembly and manual labor

Team-oriented setting with production goals and deadlines

Exposure to machinery and industrial equipment

Dress Code:

Steel toe boots required

Industrial work attire required

PPE provided as needed

You should be proficient in:

• Hydraulics Experience
• Electrical / Electronic Systems
• Mechanical Assembly Skills
• High School / GED
• Blueprint Reading
