Job Overview:

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director, Site Design and Construction, the Site Design and Construction Coordinator will play a pivotal supporting role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs. 
 
 You will be working on the design implementation of cutting-edge cancer treatment systems into existing clinical settings. Our exciting technology will rapidly increase the adoption of proton therapy into existing radiation oncology clinics. Combined with our existing gantry-based system, the projects this position will support will vary greatly from single room renovations to full building additions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-sales feasibility design studies to assess project viability and scope in collaboration with the Director.
  • Review and provide feedback on customer design documents
  • Produce technical drawing content to support project specific tasks and general site planning process
  • Coordinate site-specific design change requirements in partnership with Mevion engineering teams
  • Communicate with various project stakeholders on requirements of Mevion system requirements and site planning guide content
  • Coordinate site inspections during various phases of construction and system installation
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • 3-5 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry (Experience with healthcare projects preferred)
  • Strong understanding of design and construction processes
  • Proficient in SD, DD, and CD document review, including structural and MEP scopes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with various CAD tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Experience with engineering software (Solidworks or similar)
