Job Overview:
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assist in creating, solving, post processing, and documenting fluids (CFD) simulations of proposed product designs
- Contribute to documented best practices to guide users in the application of simulation methods
- Participate in the continuous improvement of simulation specific technologies and processes, including scripting and automation
- Communicate with team members to maintain efficient flow of work through the group
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering
- Successful completion of Introductory Fluids course
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Junior or Senior Standing
- Experience with numerical simulations
- Experience with CAD software
- Demonstrated experience using Python or other programming/scripting languages
- Prior experience with engineering simulation through internships or project based engineering clubs (i.e. solar car, rocketry club, etc.)
