Position Title: Signage - Associate Project Manager                                     FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of profitable projects and/or programs. Specifically, you will directly support a group of assigned projects and/or a program with direct oversight from one or more (Sr) Project Managers and will be responsible for the overall success of those projects as rated by: on time completion, customer satisfaction and margin adherence goals. You will be expected to continue your development to independently manage the assigned workload from preliminary due diligence through closeout / invoicing. The Associate Project Manager will need to execute and continue to develop in the following areas of Project Management: Customer Service, Technical Knowledge, Internal/ External Communication & Task Management, Organization and Discipline.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service our customer’s needs on a daily basis with a relentless commitment to warm and friendly relationship.
  • Work to understand the changing needs of our customers and be proactive in managing their success
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to make sure signs and technical details are proactively managed from the survey to sign construction to manufacturing and installation.
  • Under oversight from a (Sr) Project Manager, develop the ability manage the day-to-day process of individual projects or programs by making sure all client deliverables are met on time and are delivered profitably for the company.
  • Coordinate and communicate daily with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure project or program success
  • Support all necessary meetings to ensure all relevant internal and external partners are clearly informed of their deadlines and responsibilities
  • Execute all tasks timely and within the company and customer expected time frames
  • Proactively communicate with your manager to effectively plan and prioritize your workload. Continue to develop the ability to independently prioritize and plan. 
  • Be responsible for all invoicing up to and including creating, maintaining, and dispersing invoices from subcontractors and vendors for clients while exercising discretion about pricing
  • Maintain consistent updating of the company's ERP system and milestone tracking
  • Using your critical thought and developing experience improve on your ability to make sound decisions in the best interest of our clients and Cima. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of sign or construction project management experience
  • Must have at least 2+ years of successful vendor management experience
  • Motivated self-starter with a want for continued professional development 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate with various vendor partners  
  • Proficient in word, excel and smart sheet – M1 experience a plus 
  • Work in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized with changing deliverables 
  • Must be able to work productively in team environment
  • Must excel at customer service and communication
