Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sign Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in clean, precise work and has a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Spray paint signs, stencils, and lettering across a variety of surfaces including equipment, walls, and industrial materials. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking prior to application. Mix and match paints to meet color specifications and finish standards. Apply stencils and templates accurately to ensure clean, consistent lettering and graphics. Perform touch-ups and maintenance on existing signage. Maintain spray equipment and workspace in proper working order.

Requirements

Proven experience in spray painting, sign painting, or a related trade. Ability to operate and maintain spray guns and related equipment. Strong eye for detail and consistency in finish quality. Ability to work from templates, stencils, and written instructions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work on ladders, and handle materials of varying weights. Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

Experience with industrial or commercial signage. Background in stencil lettering or surface preparation for industrial environments. Experience with Matthews Paint systems and industrial coating applications a plus.
