Clean Line Operator- Metals (3rd Shift)

As a Clean Line Operator you will be processing aluminum foil from the vendor through equipment to provide the next operation with material that meets all specifications. 

Currently there is an opening for a Clean Line Operator in our Metals division on 3rd shift: (10:30p - 6:30a. Sunday - Thursday)

1st Shift Training Required: Monday - Thursday 4:30AM to 2:30PM for about 8 to 12 weeks. 

Metals Clean Line Operator: Starting at $22.98 per hour on 3rd Shift!

$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.

$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL YOU REACH $1200.

Key Responsibilities:

• Start-up clean line equipment at the beginning of the shift
• Mix and prepare conversion coating, primer, and alkaline solutions in a safe manner. 
• Ensures that aluminum is fed into the line properly and runs efficiently to reduce waste and maintain quality. 
• Maintain line throughout run including monitoring for proper equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, chemical usage, and alkaline titration.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and orders as necessary. 
• Drive forklift truck to move aluminum rolls. 
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful. 
• Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
