Job Overview:
We have an opening for a Sign Fabricator position working at a sign fabrication facility located in Hartselle, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.Skills/Qualifications- Previous fabrication, welding, metalworking, woodworking, or sign industry experience preferred.
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
Basic mechanical skills and experience with power tools.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to safely operate saws, routers, welders, and other shop equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to work safely and efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
Duties/Responsibilities- Fabricate custom signs, channel letters, cabinets, monument signs, and related products.
Operate shop equipment including saws, routers, welders, drills, and various hand tools.
Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, layouts, and production specifications.
Cut, shape, assemble, and finish aluminum, acrylic, PVC, vinyl, and other sign materials.
Assemble custom signage according to specifications and quality standards.
Assist with electrical sign assembly and LED installation.
Measure materials and finished products to ensure accuracy and proper fit.
Inspect completed signs for quality, appearance, and workmanship.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in an organized and usable condition.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
