Are you curious about the magic that goes into producing a Disney event? The Show Services Department is a service provider to the Entertainment Division at Disneyland® Resort. We deliver supplies and offer backstage support for entertainment costuming, parades, and shows. Drivers also provide transportation for Cast Members, Media, and Guest Talent to various locations throughout Disneyland® Resort and Southern California.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
This role requires availability Friday, Saturday, and Sunday year round. Full availability for individual holidays, special events, and all peak seasons (Spring Break, the week of Thanksgiving, and the weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year's).

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. You may be scheduled an overnight shift. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Basic Qualifications

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License
  • Possess driving record with no moving violations in the past 12 months
  • Eager to interact and assist others
  • Flexible/adaptable
  • Receptive to special requests
  • Responsible
  • In good physical condition to safely complete all support deliveries
  • Comfortable working in outdoor conditions with heat, cold, and all types of weather
  • Part Time requires year-round availability (including nights and overnights) for holidays and weekends, and then full availability during our peak times of the year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Displayed passion for the Disney brand and culture
  • Knowledge and experience working within the events or entertainment space
  • Current Class “B” License with passenger endorsement
  • Driving experience, ideally with larger vehicles (e.g., shuttles, buses, box trucks, tractor trailer, semi-tractor, etc.)
  • Full Availability seven (7) days a week
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to service events
  • Complete daily task list and stay on schedule
  • Drive a variety of passenger vans and electric carts. (Additional training required to drive trams, vans, and buses)
  • Deliver water, supplies, and equipment to numerous break areas and performance venues throughout the Resort
  • Offer backstage support for special events both on and off property
  • Shuttle laundry (requires lifting laundry bins and costumes in and out of vehicles)
  • Provide transportation for Cast Members, Media, and Guest Talent to various locations throughout Disneyland® Resort

Compensation Details

The pay rate for this role in California is $26.75 per hour.
