NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Shovel Stacker Operator with experience in a log yard loading, stacking, and unloading logs for a local Lumber processing company. This position is a great opportunity to become part of a great company in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
2 years minimum experience using a Shovel Stacker in a log yard.
Views safety as paramount and continually works to maintain a safe operation.
Inspects and observes machinery for equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
Performs daily service and operator maintenance as needed.
Rotates working in ground position.
This includes sweeping catwalks, greasing bearings, clearing pathways, tracking conveyor belts, recognizing and reporting mechanical issues, cleaning the grounds with a skid steer, water hose and shovel.
Completes daily inspection of pre-shift equipment.
Properly follows all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Clean driving record and have a valid Driver’s License.
All other duties as assigned.
Frequently working 10-12-hour workdays.
Walking/Climbing stairs
Sitting for longer periods while operating loader.
Carrying up to 50 lbs. tools, boxes, buckets.
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Springfield, OR.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: May vary based on business need but typically between 6:30AM to 3:30PM
Pay: $28.19/hr.
