Full DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:
Service and maintain equipment, including work at local government facilities.
Work with AC and DC powered components (120V-480V).
Perform basic maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, fuel filters, fuel lines, and PTO adjustments.
Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and compressed air systems.
Operate forklifts and general shop equipment as needed.
Perform basic welding tasks when required.
Support operations with power drive systems (electric and diesel).
Follow all safety protocols, including use of respirators when required.
Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
Continuously learn and develop technical skills under operations management guidance.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record and no criminal history; felony convictions will not be considered due to facility access requirements.
Experience with electrical systems and controls is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and related systems is preferred.
Familiarity with forklifts, shop equipment, and power drive systems is a plus.
Basic understanding of compressed air and pneumatic systems is preferred.
Basic welding skills are a plus.
CDL license is an advantage.
Ability to wear a half-mask respirator and pass fit testing (may require shaving facial hair).
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
You should be proficient in:
