We are seeking a motivated Shop Technician, in the West Columbia area, to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience working with diesel-powered and heavy equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused service environment. Successful candidates are self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow their technical skills.

**Responsibilities

**

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel and heavy equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
Repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, drivetrain, and mechanical systems
Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and service manuals
Complete repair documentation and service reports
Maintain a safe and professional work environment

**Qualifications

**

High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel repair experience required
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
Experience using diagnostic software preferred
Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed
