**About the Position
**
This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role responsible for overseeing daily machine shop operations across a multi-shift manufacturing environment. You will lead front-line supervisors and support production teams while driving performance, accountability, scheduling, and operational excellence throughout the facility.

**Responsibilities
**
Lead and develop front-line supervisors responsible for Glass Manufacturing, Metal Manufacturing, and Prototype/Special Projects/R&D operations
Provide leadership and oversight for approximately 20 indirect production employees across multiple shifts
Drive production performance to meet schedule, quality, safety, and delivery objectives
Coordinate staffing, workflow, and production priorities across a three-shift operation
Utilize ERP systems to manage production schedules, work orders, inventory, and operational reporting
Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and efficiency
Establish accountability and performance expectations throughout the manufacturing organization
Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness
Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
Provide hands-on leadership and support as needed to ensure production goals are achieved

**Experience Requirements
**
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within a machine shop, fabrication shop, or related industrial environment
Demonstrated experience leading supervisors, team leads, operators, or production personnel
Experience managing production schedules, workflow, and capacity planning
Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Global Shop Solutions is highly preferred
Track record of driving measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, or delivery performance
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational capabilities
Comfortable operating in fast-paced manufacturing environments with evolving priorities

**Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising multi-shift manufacturing operations
Experience using Global Shop Solutions or similar ERP systems
Background in machining, precision manufacturing, or metalworking environments
Experience implementing process improvements and operational best practices
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
