We're Looking for a Shop Expeditor Assistant!

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are looking for a Shop Expeditor Assistant to support the Expeditor Foreman with material receiving, documentation, inventory management, and shop coordination. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, staged, and prepared for fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and track incoming materials
• Review purchase orders against deliveries
• Scan packing slips and maintain accurate records
• Prepare bag-and-tag cut lists
• Assist with inventory, storage, staging, and shipping
• Support shop safety and daily operations

Qualifications:

• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Experience in material receiving, inventory, shipping, warehouse, or fabrication shop operations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory/barcode systems, Stratus, or Field Materials preferred
• Knowledge of pipe, fittings, supports, rods, and dunnage is a plus
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Safety-minded with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced shop environment
