Shop Lead
Reports To: Service Foreman
Job Outline:
Reports to the service foreman and is responsible for the floor technical assistance for mechanics and repairs as
directed by the service foreman.
• Follows all policies and procedures as specified in the company manuals
• Maintains high employee morale
• Attains short and long-term objectives with good management/planning
• Performs repairs as directed by the service foreman
• Assists mechanics in solving machine and component problems
• Determines parts requirements and outside materials requirements to complete
repairs
• Completes all paperwork necessary to perform repairs as directed
• Notifies service foremen upon completion of repairs
• Performs repairs as directed by the service foreman

Job Requirements:
The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, holding high technical skills. This individual
is also able to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealer and manufacturer standards.
Education/Training/Experience:
A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.
General Skill Requirements:
• Strong mechanical skills
• Good communications skills
• Good, safe work habits
Specific Skill Requirements:
A good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions and strong diagnostic skills.
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving
mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions,
extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
