Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and preparation of welding equipment for production tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc welding.
Measure and cut materials using tape measures and other tools to precise specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including adherence to OSHA standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills.

Qualifications

OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) is required.
Basic knowledge of welding setups for production.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc welding is preferred.
Proficient in tape measure reading and material measurement.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
