They offer a hands-on, team-oriented shop environment where employees have the opportunity to work across different areas, develop their manufacturing skills, and contribute to daily production operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Assembler / Shop Helper to join a manufacturing team in Rogers, MN. This hands-on position involves assembling steel components, working with hand tools and shop equipment, and providing support throughout different areas of the shop.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their manufacturing experience while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble steel parts and components using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Follow work instructions and established assembly procedures.
• Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy.
• Handle and move steel parts and materials throughout the shop.
• Support production operations across different departments as needed.
• Safely operate assigned hand tools and shop equipment.
• Adapt to changing assignments and production priorities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all established safety protocols and shop procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with additional shop and production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working around shop equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to move between different tasks and departments as production needs change.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, carrying, and repetitive movements.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced manufacturing and shop environment.
• Regular exposure to steel components, hand tools, shop equipment, and manufacturing operations.
• Physically active position involving frequent standing and material handling.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
