Job Title: Shop Hand/Grinder Operator

Location: Keithville, LA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay:$14-17 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Shop Hand/Grinder Operator to join our team in Keithville, LA. This role involves assisting with various shop tasks, including grinding, material handling, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience using grinders and hand tools, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate grinders and other shop tools to smooth, shape, and prepare metal parts.
Assist with general shop duties, including material handling and equipment setup.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inspect workpieces for quality and accuracy.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Assist welders, fabricators, and other team members as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on grinders and shop equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience operating grinders or working in a shop environment preferred.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
