We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Foreman to join our dynamic team in our Metal Fabrication Shop located in Warminster, PA, 18974. As a Shop Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the metal fabrication shop.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee welding setups for production, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software, specifically AutoCAD, for design and production planning.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes.
- Operate and maintain various welding equipment including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welders.
- Utilize manual grinders and CNC plasma cutters for precise metal shaping and finishing.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards in production.
- Train and mentor staff on welding techniques and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with quality control software and practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are a plus.
