Progressive Manufacturing Inc. operates a manufacturing facility in Newport, NH specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining. We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and ensure our products meet exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Shop Floor Management: Coordinate and schedule workflow across sheet metal (laser, press brake, welding) and CNC machining centers to meet delivery deadlines.

**Team Leadership: **Train, mentor, and lead a team of 15 -20 machinists and fabricators. Manage shift schedules, time tracking, and performance evaluations.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all manufactured parts conform to blueprints, engineering specifications, and strict quality control standards.

Machine Readiness & Maintenance: Assist operators in machine setups, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

**Safety & Compliance: **Enforce OSHA regulations and facility-wide safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized shop floor.

Qualifications Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in a precision sheet metal fabrication and/or CNC machining environment.

Leadership: Minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.

Technical Skills: Ability to interpret complex blueprints, mechanical drawings, and develop operational routing sheets. Proficient with precision measuring instruments.

Software/Tools: Basic computer skills (MS Office/Excel); experience with ERP/MRP software is a strong plus.
