About us:

Want to get away from the city? We are a fast-growing diesel repair shop in the foothills with a shop in Applegate, CA. We are looking for a diesel mechanic to join our shop team!

Owner operated since 1997, G & T Truck Repair is known for doing exceptional work, repairing and maintaining trucks and trailers for a number of companies from around the region. We know it's not just the truckers and trucking companies that depend on us. With that in mind, there is no room for average work here. We strive to be the best and do the best work, period.

We are looking for mechanics who can:

· Diagnose and repair simple and complex issues

· Perform routine maintenance tasks with Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Mack, Volvo, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge

· Perform routine maintenance tasks with Class 6, 7, and 8

· Engine, transmission, drive train diagnostic to overhaul

The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art computer diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for each customer. The ideal applicant will have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to spend the necessary time explaining issues to customers and helping them understand their service needs.

Qualifications:

· 2 years experience

· Certifications a plus

· Must have own tools

· Clean, valid driver’s license required

· Drug-free

· Punctual

· Self-motivated

· Positive team player

· Exceptional customer service skills and friendly disposition

Pay $40+/- per hour, depending on experience
