Status: Full-Time, Hourly: $19-$20 DOE

As a Parts & Service Assistant, you will be the backbone of our service department and lot operations. You will handle everything from inbound and outbound inventory to installing parts, servicing trailers of all makes and models, and prepping products for our customers. You will also play a key role in keeping our facility clean, organized, and safe.
Trailer Service & Assembly: Perform parts and accessory installations, routine maintenance, and warranty work on various trailer models.
Quality Control: Conduct daily safety and quality inspections on lot trailers.
Lot & Inventory Management: Assist with trailer and supply deliveries, track inventory, and operate a Kubota tractor (or equivalent) to organize the lot.
Shop Safety & Appearance: Maintain a clean, professional, and secure shop and yard environment.
Tools & Equipment: Operate power tools and welding equipment (company certification provided).
Team Collaboration: Work closely with store management, participate in team meetings, and occasionally assist with trailer sales as needed.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Great time management and a sharp attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to solve practical problems calmly.
Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and basic diagrams.
Basic math skills (calculating discounts, proportions, and basic measurements).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Stamina: Ability to routinely lift 50–75 lbs, stand, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and climb on/off trailers throughout the day.
Work Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (wet, humid, hot, or cold) and working around mechanical parts.
Bonus Points: Spoken fluency in Spanish or basic computer/keyboarding skills are a plus!
